Let me tell you a little bit about myself. This is my sixth year at South Middle School, teaching 6th Social Studies, and my 15th year in the teaching profession. I received an Associate of Arts degree from Three Rivers Community College in Poplar Bluff, MO. My BS in education is from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, MO. I received my Masters Degree in Education from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO.
I grew up in Webb City, MO but moved away after high school. I returned 6 years ago and again reside in Webb City. I have been married for thirty-one years and have two grown children and three grandchildren. I enjoy reading, singing, playing my guitar, kayaking, and playing with my grandchildren. I have a little Papillion named Winston. My philosophy in the classroom is to give each one of my students the same time, consideration, and effort as I expected of the teachers of my own children.
